FAQS
HOW LONG BEFORE I SHOULD CHANGE MY WAX?
Our melts will last approximately 12-16 hours or 3-4, 4hr tea lights, though this can vary across fragrances and according to personal preference.
Room size and weather/temperature can also affect the scent throw. We use the maximum scent load to create a strong and long lasting fragrance.
Wax should be stored in airtight containers or the pouches we provide to ensure long lasting scents.
HOW DO I CHANGE MY WAX MELTS?
There are a couple of ways to do this,
If your wax has set and is hard, the best way to remove it from your is to light a tea light underneath wait around 2 minutes, for the wax to loosen before applying slight downward pressure and sliding the used wax out in one piece.
Liquid wax (Please remember, your burner will be hot):
If your wax is melted, the best way to remove it from your burner, is to drop a cotton wool ball into the liquid wax and it will absorb the remaining wax. Then wipe with another piece of cotton wool or a piece of tissue to clean up the last bits.
CAN I USED YOUR WAX IN AN ELECTRIC WARMER?
Yes, although electric warmers often have deeper wells, and as it’s important to cover the bottom of the well, to ensure even heat distribution, we recommending using approximately 10 – 16 grams of the same fragrance at once. Again this should last 12-16hrs depending on personal preference.
